Prepare your answers to the following questions for next class. Module 6 in your books may offer useful vocabulary to talk about media:

1. What is your position towards media?
2. What is your opinion about it?
3. How do you support your opinion?
4. Which counter-arguments may be considered?

1. The mass media are a product of the technological advances, therefore, it is a creation of the society to keep the people informed but especially to create culture from the interests of the media.

2. I think that they are the best tool of our epoch: thanks to them we can communicate and know what happens in the whole world. Nevertheless, some personal interests of the owners of these medias, do that in occasions they give us partially certain information.

3. A clear example of these interests, it is one of the privates channels of our country: RCN. The owner of this channel is the owner of the company POSTOBON too and in his channel only he does advertising to POSTOBON, does not do it the same with COKE.

4. Internet is an example from which already the big capitals are not needed to communicate with the others and at the same time, to publish our interests only we have to open a web page and everything is ready.

I think that this article is true, because it shows how the wolves are important inside the yelowstone national park, in order that they make a balance inside the ecosystem. If they are not in there, the elk would eat up all the plants of cotton and the willows, so thats why the wolves are so important because they feed of the elk and these are afraid about them, therefore they are not so close to these plants since the wolves live in there and the elk avoid to be in dangerous places where they can be hunted.
